Back-to-School Service for Your Car's Cooling System

The cooling system in your vehicle is responsible for protecting all the moving parts in the engine block. These are a few parts that will be checked during the back-to-school cooling system inspection.

The thermostat has to be working correctly all the time in order to be regulating the inside temperatures of the engine block. If the thermostat housing is leaking or the part fails, the engine parts could overheat and seize.

The radiator will be inspected for any signs of an issue, then the coolant will be flushed and replaced with the OEM equivalent. The radiator fan will be checked it is working to cool the fluids as they pass by the radiator.

The water pump will first be checked for leaks, then the belts checked for any signs of wear that could compromise the system.

Visit Dick Dyer Volvo Cars today so our team can schedule your vehicle for a back-to-school cooling system maintenance.
