 Released halfway through the model year, the 2015.5 Volvo XC^0 has a few upgrades to show off. The 2015.5 Volvo XC60 is available in either a T5 or T6 model, and in FWD or AWD. The T5 model comes in Base, Premier, or Platinum. The T6 comes in Base and Platinum.
The T5 Drive-E Base now has a new 2-liter 4-cylinder engine. Standard ECO+ functions include an enhanced start/stop that can shut the engine off at 4 mpg as you coast to a stop and an ECO-climate that can disable the AC compressor to reduce engine load if needed. The T5 Base also has Sensus Connect infotainment and Volvo On-Call system. Optional upgrades include a Harmon Kardon Premium Sound System and keyless entry with push-button start. The Premier trim level adds an auto-dimming rearview mirror, navigation and a digital instrument cluster with Elegance, Eco and Performance themes. The Platinum trim level comes standard with the Harmon Kardon Premium Sound System, retractable outside mirrors, keyless entry, push button start, and a power tailgate.
The T6 Drive-E is also equipped with a new 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that's turbocharged and supercharged to really pack a punch. Standard equipment is the same on the T5 models, including the ECO+ features and Sensus Connect infotainment system. The Platinum includes the same features at the T5 Platinum, including standard with the Harmon Kardon Premium Sound System, retractable outside mirrors, keyless entry, push button start, and a power tailgate.
The T6 AWD model comes with the same features as the T6 FWD, but the AWD Platinum has available Child Booster Seats, optional Blind Spot Information System Package, optional heated front seats, and optional 20-inch alloy wheels.
At the top of the line, the T6 AWD R-Design features a turbocharged 3-liter 6-cylinder and color-matched lower body moldings, chrome tailpipes, an R-Design logo on the grille, and a "silk metal finish" on the outside mirrors, trim moldings and skid plates. Inside, the steering wheel has aluminum inserts, as does the door moldings and center stack. The T6 AWD R-Design Platinum has the same amenities as other Platinum trims.
